Nikolaos of Myra (Turkey), a 4th-century Christian saint and Greek Bishop, is the patron saint of Russia, Greece, Apulia, Sicily and Loraine. He is also the patron saint of sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, children, brewers, pawnbrokers and students.
