Edward Mirell’s Black Ti provides a rich, clean and distinctive black that doesn’t chip; it’s not an applied coating. The titanium turns black from the outside in by exposing it to extreme heat. A proprietary alloy, in that, it miraculously experiences an atomic transformation at the molecular level and becomes as hard ceramic. Argentium silver is roughly the same composition as sterling silver, composed of 92.5% pure silver; instead of sterling’s 7.5% copper content, germanium is smelted into the copper.
