14k Yellow Gold Four-Way Cross Medal (30x29 MM)

The Four Way Medal or Four Way Cross is also known as a cruciform and is four medals in one: The top image is that of the sacred heart of Jesus, with Christ pointing to His heart. This is the representation of His divine love and compassion for humanity. The lower image depicts the Virgin Mother and these words: O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee. St. Christopher, the protector of travelers, is on the left. He is said to have carried the Christ child across a raging river. St. Joseph, the earthly father and guardian of Christ, is shown on the right and is holding a lily and the Christ child. He is an example of putting the sacred above his own desires. The dove at the center represents the Holy Spirit. The back features Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and an M beneath a cross with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary surrounded by twelve stars.
