14k White Gold Round St. Andrew Medal (18.5 MM)
The Men's Jewelry Store (Unisex Jewelry)

Andrew was a fisherman who was born in Bethsaida, near the Sea of Galilee. He was a follower of John the Baptist and became the first disciple of Christ. As one of the Twelve, Andrew was admitted to the closest familiarity with Our Lord during His public life; he was present at the Last Supper; beheld the risen Lord; witnessed the Ascension; shared in the graces and gifts of the first Pentecost, and helped, amid threats and persecution, to establish the Faith in Palestine. It is believed that after Our Lord ascended into Heaven, St. Andrew went to Greece to preach the gospel. Andrew had told the wife of Aegeates, the Proconsul of Greece, that she did not have to suffer abuse from her drunken husband and did not have to give herself to him under those conditions. The Saltire became the national flag of Scotland in 1385. In 1390, St Andrew was first used as a national symbol on a coin of the realm, a five-shilling piece minted in the reign of Robert III. His feast day is celebrated on November 30.
It's fitting this is crafted of gold; it's said spiritual energy and power are activated and awakened by wearing or praying with gold. Gold represents the spiritual treasure gained by transforming the spirit; it also represents love in the Bible. This is earth friendly as it is made with the Refined Karats system certified by Scientific Certification Systems' (SCS) strict requirements. Proudly made in America with a green process of ethically, environmentally and socially responsible production processes of water, waste and energy management; this is from 100 percent recycled Karats.
The rising price of gold makes this, quite simply, a great investment all around.
