This high-quality polished stainless steel, hypoallergenic bail clasp can be used with almost any pendant, making it easy to move from pendant to pendant interchangeably, plus it allows you to have two pendants and the chain in one bail clasp, if you so choose.
The high-quality stainless steel we use in our jewelry is known as 316L surgical steel, which refers to the purity and hardness of the stainless steel; the higher the grade-number the purer the stainless steel. Our steel alloy is pure grade and contains at least 11 percent chromium, which adds strength, yet keeps stainless steel lightweight. Stainless is a highly robust metal that retains its shape and luster, will not tarnish and is virtually impervious to wear and tear and can easily be polished to restore the original luster.
